HOW TO MAKE MONEY WITH YOUR BLOG
So you have just set up a blog? Your waiting for the money to roll
in? People will be rushing to look at what you have written? Sadly, it
just doesn’t happen like that. You have to work hard to get a good
traffic count. Here are some tips to help:
- Tell Your Friends About It:
This may sound obvious but it is a good starting point. If they enjoy it, they may pass it on.
- Share It On Facebook etc.
Again, not too hard to work out how to do that one.
- Make a Twitter Account Solely For Promoting Your Blog
This is my best promoting tool. I set up an account called
@IzzysBlogs
and I have set it to update every half an hour with a tweet talking
about my blog. This way even when I am sleeping I have potential traffic
coming through.
The best twitter scheduler I have found is
GremIn by the way, in case you need it.
It may look impressive but it is a true waste of money. All those
views are worthless and you have wasted valuable time getting real
visitors to the site..
- Ping every time you finish a post.
In case you don’t know what a ping is, it helps you get recognized by Google etc. easier.
- Most Of All, Keep On Updating!
Not many blogs last longer than 6 months, because the writers simply
give up. You have to learn that you won’t get instant traffic. Keep
working at it!
